Site Production Shift Leader

Job Overview and Responsibilities:

- Shift 5S inspection

Daily 5S inspection of the shift.
Scoring of the regular 5S checklist.
Rectifying and tracking problems found in 5S inspection and completing the correction report.

Monthly attendance of employees of shift.
Daily work arrangement and overtime arrangement for employees of the shift employees.

Supervision of shift daily work
Supervision of the operation in the shift.
Supervision and inspection of the completion of handover records.
Supervision and inspection of the completion of inspection records.
Completing daily production reports for the shift. Tracking the resolution of problems found in the daily production report.
Controlling production, tracking the completion of the production plan, ensure the timely completion of the production plan.
Tracking daily and monthly consumption in production, and completing the production consumption report.
Reducing product consumption, and assisting in developing the relevant action plan and tracking the completion.

-Safety, Quality and process control for the shift
Daily safety inspection, collection of the process accidents, completion of the process accident report form, and tracking of corrective and preventive measures.
Applying for MOC changes.
Diagnosing daily product quality and process problems, identifying causes, completing preventive measures and supervising and implementing them.
Responsible for product quality, tracking process product quality; timely reporting if any indicators are found to be unqualified, and assisting with timely taking corrective measures to reduce nonconforming products.
Completing the production OEE report, analyzing time loss, and developing action plan.
Assisting with optimizing production process parameters and improving production efficiency.

-Performance management of the shift staffs
Direct, control and coordinate the operations of his/her team.
Communicate messages from the management to the operators, and vice-versa.
Evaluate operator’s performance and provide feedback on a regular individual basis.
Annual/middel year performance review for the shift employees.

Education and Experience:
College degree or above required, and chemical engineering and process-related majors.
More than 5 years of working experience in chemical manufacturing, workshop management experience preferred.

Have organizational leadership / lead by example / be honest and reliable.
Have good communication skills and teamwork spirit.
Have a good command of English.
Be familiar with system. Have a basic knowledge of ISO,etc
