Analyze, recommend, develop and implement SAP-based Information Systems (IS) solutions related to enterprise structure and master data domains to resolve complex problems and introduce innovations; advise and provide expertise on IS matters to customers and lead projects; maintain current expertise on developments with SAP, communicate technical changes, their impacts, to IS colleagues and internal customers within company; propose and execute studies to analyze problems or the applicability of new SAP trends; use results of studies to propose new SAP solutions within constraints of budget and company goals; implement SAP projects, guaranteeing proper functioning, use, and maintenance of systems; provide advice to IS management regarding potential problems with regards to SAP data management; work with internal customers to determine their needs and build functional specifications; assess functional specifications against possible solutions; recommend a solution, including an estimation of cost, time frame and resources; provide post-completion maintenance support for projects, manage and monitor the budget for (sub) projects, ensure functional and organizational feasibility of projects in accordance with end-user’s objectives; support junior colleagues in their work, share knowledge with other members of the team. Approximately 10% travel required, primarily international, to company sites for meetings, trainings and workshops; no telecommuting benefit, no alternate work or residence location available.Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field and three years of experience in job offered or three years of experience as Application Data Specialist, System Analyst - Master Data Expert, or in similar positions in data analysis/management using SAP.Skills:
Background in education, training, or experience must include intermediate knowledge of data management practices; advanced knowledge of SAP R3, Microsoft Office Automation and Google Apps; basic knowledge of project management; experience supporting a company’s international operations.
