In order to continue our growth we are looking for a passionate professional Senior Account Manager, this exciting position gives you the option to work either from your home office (OR) from one of Solvay sites located across Europe.

Senior Account Manager (m/f/d) DACH, NL Aerospace Composite Materials.

Job Overview and Responsibilities

Airplanes, technical sales, composite materials and being an entrepreneur inside this healthy group, is this something for you?  Are you passionate and self-driven to take responsibility for your customers as well as for the profit and loss of your sales? Does working from a well installed customer base with scope to generate additional success with your existing customers as well as seeking to understand your competitors and explore new markets, excite you? Are you able to balance customer satisfaction with our internal organization? Are you someone that enjoys celebrating the fruits of your hard work; preparing, negating and pricing business and then finally winning new customers and bring them home?    Are you someone that has learnt that not every business can be a win, win situation, but that’s okay as you continue to learn and grow your capabilities and continue identifying and negotiating with other potential customers?  Experience has taught you that sales success is a mixture of listening to the customer, aligning internal and external stakeholders,  number crunching and last but not least hard work?    



Education and Experience:
Got what it takes?
  • Several years of profitable Sales / Account Management experience in, if possible; Aerospace, Composite Materials or related businesses with multi-year proposal phases
  • Project management skills for leading (Key) Account Strategies and the coordination of complex commercial and qualification programs leading to sales growth
  • Preferably a degree or equivalent in engineering or business related studies .
  • Customer focus and commitment: customer satisfaction is your key driver.
  • Sophisticated negotiation skills, high achievement drive to close the deal.  
  • Fluency both in English and German is a must.
