INTERNSHIP - Business Analyst Intern – Marketing & Business Development

The GBU has unparalleled expertise in three technologies: aromatic polymers, high barrier polymers and fluoropolymers.

The Marketing & Business Development department at Solvay Specialty Polymers is looking for an intern, for a period of 6 months, starting as soon as possible.

Job Overview and Responsibilities:
Supervised by his/her team, the intern will have the following missions: 
To analyze market data, sales call reports, customer information and gather primary field intelligence to create actionable market and business intelligence.
To synthesize data into qualitative and quantitative analysis.
To support the development of market/customer/sales/competitor insights necessary to apply analysis to enable decision making
To use and apply tools, techniques and creative problem solving ability to convert data into information and information into knowledge, basis which actionable tactics and projects.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree required, technical (engineering), marketing or business major preferred

Fluent in English, highly motivated team player with a “can-do” attitude, initiative, flexibility and professionalism
Good analytical skills, precision and senses of synthesis
Excellent interpersonal skills as well as strong motivation and commitment. 
Good knowledge on Microsoft Office package (especially Excel & PowerPoint) is a plus.
