Job Overview and Responsibilities:

This role will focus on short-term improvement projects contributing to the digital transformation of SBS information management services managed by the Data Solutions Service Line teams, including 

  • implementation of North America retention rules on individual physical and electronic collections of documents, unstructured information and legacy databases

  • simplification of procedures and documentation 

  • collaboration with colleagues across North America and in other regions to progressively streamline information management processes and documentation

  • design and automation of reporting workflows to show progress

    • Track cost savings achieved

    • Explain status of information assets increased compliance with retention rules 

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelors degree or on track to complete if program includes information management courses. 

  • Work experience in education, communications, administration an advantage.

  • On track to complete a Masters degree in Information Management (preferred)

  • You understand the basic principles of records management and information governance.

  • You enjoy learning new systems and processes using digital tools, which you master

  • You have good analysis skills and a problem solving mindset

  • You have good interpersonal skills and demonstrate very good listening skills.

  • You enjoy working in teams and are comfortable in new environments.

Additional Information

The initial internship period is for 12 weeks starting by September 21st 2020.

However, we are open to hire an intern that could stay longer and work part-time.
