Process Engineer (m or f or d)

Job Overview and Responsibilities

  • Improve current technologies and production processes of the GBU Special Chem in order to ensure long term competitiveness, safety and sustainability of production 
  • Conduct process and technology improvement studies as well as studies that support Research & Innovation (e.g. upscaling from laboratory scale to pilot scale and finally production scale)
  • Troubleshooting in plants through on-site help and de-bottle-necking studies
  • Support plant construction, expansion and modernization mainly in Germany, USA, Korea and China
  • Provide advice and expertise to the organization, e.g. the experts of industrial sites 

Education and Experience

  • Master degree, (or equivalent by experience) in Chemical Engineering, Process Technology in Chemical Industry
  • >3 years working experience as production engineer, process engineer or scientific working
  • Working experience in process industry where pumps, compressors and heat exchangers are in use

  • Problem solving
  • Cultural awareness

  • Fluent in English: oral and writing

Additional Information

  • Willing to travel >25%
  • The job can be based on other cities. It can be discussed during the interview
