Job Overview and Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new sales opportunities from battery makers with regards to battery cell related business
  • Identify, develop and realize sales opportunities in electric vehicle battery module/pack from battery makers, Tiers and automotive OEMs
  • Maintain and develop close relationship with key accounts to achieve annual new business/customer development objectives in the area
  • Analyse and understand the target markets trend, buying centre / decision making processes with effective implementation
  • Close communication with Customer Technical Development Team to provide customer sufficient technical solution as well as technology expertise knowhow
  • Provide effective and adequate technical intelligence to R&D for new product development
  • Provide business intelligence from customers and work closely with marketing manager to ensure the effective implementation of the strategy

Education and Experience

  • Minimum Bachelor Degree, Science/Engineering Degree in Polymer science or electrochemistry
  • At least 5 years working experience in battery related business (cell, module/pack), additional working experience within electric vehicle/electrification industry will be a plus.

Skills

  • Very good commercial business relationship and customer intimacy spirit in traction battery industry
  • In-depth understanding and knowledge in polymer science
  • Ability to manage and close development programs
  • Ability to work in a global team
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Willing to travel frequently

  • Fluent in German and English
