This position is a multi-craft position with emphasis areas. The successful candidate will be required to work, independently and in partnership with other staff members, on general mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and utility operation tasks. An on the job and off site training program will be available to support these required activities. Emphasis areas include monitoring, inspection and repairing of process equipment and utilities.

Job Overview and Responsibilities:
Preforms a wide variety of duties as required in the maintenance, repair and installation of plant equipment and buildings in a chemical manufacturing plant. Expected to diagnose problems, plan and perform necessary repairs with minimum supervision. Work closely with engineering and operations to improve reliability plant wide Responsible for maintaining safety culture to produce an accident free through established safety programs and practices. Preforms work order repairs, inspections and adjustments as scheduled. Safe use of power and hand tools.

 PLC knowledge – installation, programming, and trouble-shooting Background in digital control systems, including field termination, analog/digital signal trouble-shooting, HART communication Installation and programming of Variable Frequency Drives Wiring of motors and HP load controllers, for 120VAC and 480VAC Calibration and trouble-shooting of dp transmitters, flow meters, pressure transmitters, temperature transmitters, level transmitters, etc. Instrument to Pneumatic signal conversion Installation and testing of pressure switches, temperature switches Knowledge of grounding systems and power grids Interlock testing and setup 

Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent required; • Minimum of 5 years of experience working in the manufacturing maintenance

PLC knowledge – installation, programming, and trouble-shooting Background in digital control systems, including field termination, analog/digital signal trouble-shooting, HART communication
