Job Overview and Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing plant employee relations, enforcing rules and policies
consistently. Coordinating the workforce to meet the production schedule. Ensure that products produced meet our quality requirements. Work on projects to improve safety and productivity.
  •   Supervise and Support Production 
  •   Employee Safety
  •   Resource Management
  •   Develop and Mentor Employees
  •   Customer Support
  •   Internal coordination of activities and communication between departments
  •   Internal/External customer support 


Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required
  • BA/BS degree is preferred
  • 5+ years in manufacturing environments
  • Flexible to work 6am-6pm or 6pm-6am, from Sunday to Tuesday or Thursday to Saturday and every other Wednesday
  • Safety-process focused leadership (Must have a high degree of safety awareness)
  • Lean Manufacturing Training
  • Able to manage within a union environment
  • Able to interact with both hourly and salaried employees
  • Ability to assign priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Must be a self starter w/excellent communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong planning/organization skills
  • Strong internal and external customer focus
  • Action oriented


Skills:
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Computer literate in MS Window applications and MRP systems
  • Professionalism-mutual respect-role model for others to follow
  • Knowledge and skill in materials managements and inventory control methods/procedures.
  • Knowledge and skill in procurement policies and shipping and receiving practices.
  • Experience in operating forklift
  • Train and supervisor others
