Financial Analyst or Plant Controller

Job Overview and Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities include:

Completing the controlling closing tasks within the Group schedule

Support to R&D and Commercial Controlling

Ensure the reliability of cost accounting key figures and/or P/L reporting

Monthly reporting of all financial data and analysis

Analyze results and variances to standard

Manage the product costing process including material master maintenance

Support within own perimeter the management through advice, information and financial expertise (working with the site managers to control costs and understand results)

Update cost accounting structure and allocation keys, following business needs and evolution

Manage financial projects and the financial aspects of organizational and Group projects

Maintain updated knowledge of the concepts and tools of the financial databases – local SAP expert – and be part of the GBU Controllers network

Work with local maintenance and Industrial Team on capital expenditures and project maintenance

Compliance with Internal Controls

Other support as required

Education and Experience

Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting or Business& Management.

3-5 years of experience in accounting, auditing or finance positions.


Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups, basic IF formulas, etc.)
Demonstrate strong quantitative and analytical skills
Strong relationship building skills and a highly professional “customer centricity orientation”

Strong communicator in both oral and written settings
High energy level
SAP Preferred
